Come “drop in” to the skatepark to explore the fundamentals of skateboarding in a welcoming, supportive environment that prioritizes comfort, confidence, and community.This beginner skate camp is designed for girls, trans, and nonbinary youth — who feel comfortable in a femme-centered space — to develop foundational skateboarding skills while being supported every step of the way by the co-founders of Popsicle Skate, Ann and Gianna!Campers will learn proper stance, balance, pushing, and how to move confidently on a skateboard, all in a space that values their lived experience and encourages growth at each individual’s pace. No prior experience is necessary and all equipment is provided, but if you have your own board and/or helmet, feel free to bring it!Each participant will receive one camp t-shirt for the week and one snack each day.
